Sophia Peng has immersed herself with her passion for the arts since her earliest years. Not only has she mastered various traditional Chinese instruments like the Hulusi, Bawu, Dizi Bamboo Flute, and Xiao, Sophia is an award-winning young classical singer, sharing a stage with artists like Andris Nelsons, Yoyo Ma, and Renee Fleming. Her early theater performances in Serbia sparked the inspiration for XChange. Aside from the arts, Sophia is deeply interested in international studies, and hopes to utilize XChange as a way to encourage learning about other cultures and bridge cross-national gaps.

Sophia has demonstrated remarkable talent in various artistic fields, including painting, design, drama, accordion, and musical theater. Her wide vocal range and singing skills allow her to seamlessly perform any part in the choir and A Cappella. Sophia is committed to exploring the integration of art and technology, and she hopes to connect with peers around the world through XChange and engage in discussions about the development of art and AI technology.

William Wei is an avid chorus and musical theater enthusiast. William has attended musical and theater productions at Fay School, as well as having a lead role in his school’s choir. In his free time, he likes to play tennis, sailing, read books and volunteer at community boating.

Emma Shi, 12 years old. Emma is a skilled and experienced performer on the piano, Guzheng, and flute, being a part of various ensembles and even helping to teach.
In 2023, Emma was acknowledged when she participated in the Boston International Music Competition. She was honored with the Best Stage Performance Award and achieved an outstanding 3rd place in the Piano Solo category.
